Amanita eliae Quél. Cap 6-10cm across, creamy-beige to flesh coloured, with patches of white veil. Stem 8-12cm x .8-1.2cm white to cream coloured, slightly bulbous with a fleeting white volva often reduced to a slight band, the ring is white. Flesh white, tinged cream below the cap cuticle, Taste pleasant, smell faint. Gills free, white. Spore print white. Spores broadly ovate, nonamyloid, 11-13×7–8µ. Habitat broad-leaved trees especially oak. Season late summer to late autumn. Rare. Not edible possibly poisonous.
